I never expected to recover a cent and your letter was a gift that has healed some of the loss I carried. For some, your work may be an nice little bonus to buy something extra, but for those like me, it is life altering. The amount may seem small to many, but for me and my son, it gives us a chance to come home and touch the soil of our country we have been displaced from against our will. We have dreamed of the day we could begin a new chapter and start over and with your help, that day has finally arrived.
